Cross Selling And Upselling Services

While companies frequently move call center operations off-shore for better cost-savings, they routinely neglect the fact that only 21% of customer contacts lead to cross-sell and up-sell opportunities, the true measure of a call center's effectiveness. Nearly 60% of call centers fail to even practice cross- selling and up-selling during customer interactions. At that rate, those call centers will struggle to turn a profit.

"How to Win at Upselling and Cross-Selling"

  • Soothe Customers - and Increase Sales
  • Let the customer vent.
  • Don't snow the customer with policies and regulations.
  • Never make the customer wrong!
  • Defuse the customer's anger.
  • Ask open-ended questions ... but only after giving the
  • Customer ample time to vent.

Closing The Sale

  • Take charge of the call.
  • Use command words.
  • Sell the product's benefits, not its features.
  • Appeal to emotion, not intellect.
  • Close on an upbeat note.

Cross selling and upselling Benefits

  • Build rapport and connect with customers
  • Reduce escalated and repeat calls
  • Delight upset and complaining customers
  • Increase call productivity and quality
  • If relevant, upsell and cross-sell

Soft Connect

Centre for Development Of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) Noida a scientific society under Ministry of Communications and information technology Govt. of India was established with the mandate to undertake and promote state-of-the-art, scientific research and development in electronics and to design and develop electronics equipment’s and systems for the growth of electronics industry. C-DAC lays emphasis on translating the goals of Ministry of Information Technology, Govt. of India, to bring fruits of IT to every walk of life and enhance the competitiveness of electronics industry.

An IDC is a specialized location where rack space is rented out to corporates to host their servers. The main advantages this offers over a corporate maintaining its own server/s and other equipments are:

  • 24x7 Availability
  • Reduction in maintenance Cost
  • Availability of specialized equipment
  • Assistance of technical expertise

C-DAC Data center leads the industry for physical security, power availability, infrastructure flexibility and customer support, exceeding the standards set by global Internet brands. This means larger facilities, all the top networks, robust power architecture, unrivaled security and more options than any traditional data center facility. The details of the infrastructure for collocating and opting for hosting solutions inside C-DAC Data center include.

C-DAC Hosting Services take care of all your Internet needs in a safe, secure and fully supported environment that keeps your business application up and running on a 24 x 7 basis. The infrastructure, from Cisco, Juniper, HP, Trend Micro IBM, EMC and other IT giants, ensures that there is no single point of failure, thus providing the highest level of availability. In addition, stringent security measures like Intrusion Detection, firewalls, etc, provide a high-security environment.

Data center

C-DAC Managed Hosting owns data center located at Anusandhan Bhawan Sector-62 Noida, C-DAC data center is engineered to the highest levels, with extensive systems to address security and network redundancy, enabling C-DAC to offer 100% infrastructure availability.

Security

Access to data center is restricted by two-factor authentication including Biometric hand scanners. C-DAC data center is physically isolated from everyone except level three Engineers & technicians. Public access is strictly forbidden. All entrances and common areas are monitored 24x7.

Precision Environment

Our data centers' HVAC (Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning) systems are redundant to ensure that even in the event of an entire HVAC system failure - there is a duplicate system on standby to take over. All air is circulated and filtered every 90 seconds to remove dust and contaminants. An advanced fire-suppression system is in place to prevent any fire from spreading - in the unlikely event that one could start all cables to servers and routing equipment are securely tied down and cable racks suspended from the ceiling provide dual routes for all cables.

Power systems

C-DAC data center is designed to run uninterrupted even in the unlikely event of a total power outage. All servers are fed with conditioned UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) power that will run if utility power fails. The UPS power subsystem is redundant with instantaneous fail over in case the primary UPS fails. In the event of an extended power outage, on-site diesel generators can run indefinitely. Generators are regularly tested to ensure functionality in the event of an emergency.

Core Routing Equipment

We use only fully redundant, enterprise-class routing equipment housed in its own secure; core routing room is fed with its own redundant power supply. Our fiber carriers enter the facilities at disparate access points to ensure that there is no service failure, even in the unlikely event of a fiber cut.

Network Redundancy

We have implemented various technologies to improve the reliability and maximize the uptime of our network. The first of these technologies is BGP (Border Gateway Protocol) routing. BGP routing ensures that data coming into our network and data leaving our network (WAN traffic) is sent via the shortest, most efficient path possible. BGP also instantly re-routes WAN traffic in the event of an uplink failure to provide uninterrupted access to servers hosted by C-DAC. Our network also runs EIGRP (Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol) and HSRP (Hot Standby Router Protocol) which dynamically re-route internal (LAN) traffic in the event of a Network Hardware or link failure

Network Technicians

At C-DAC, we realize that a data center is more than hardware and software. That's why we employ certified networking and security team with years of experience in managing and monitoring enterprise-level networks. Our certified C-DAC network technicians are trained to the highest standards to ensure that we are able to meet our 100% infrastructure availability guarantee.
